HOYER. Authentic, Vintage HOYER 12 String. In good playing

This HOYER is from the sixties and it plays just as it should do. No Bellying, No Neck Sinking through String Stress. No Bridge lifting. A nice straight Neck. Machine head individual Tuners all working freely, no tension evident. Keeps in pitch. New String fitted 2 months ago, no re-set needed apart from a minimal tweak. There is of course signs of age and superficial deterioration as shown in Picture 6 and some surface cracking in the Laquer. And thats it. It was good enough for Elvis to use (although he had pickup introduced to his) and use on many occasions, in Movies, recording and of course live. This is a guitar of the past with genuine history......search to see. Eko `Rio Grande 12` -Vintage Acoustic 12 String Guitar

A good example of a rare, mid 's Eko 12 string guitar. Great sounding, all original with an adjustable bridge, open style tuners and a low action for a 12 string. I believe it has a spruce top and mahogany sides and back. Made in Italy, this is a weighty, full size dreadnought size guitar with a big voice to match! New strings just fitted. There are several dings here and there, mainly to the dark resin binding around the body edge. Also at the top, rear corner of the headstock. None of these are that obvious and do not affect the sound or playability. Otherwise it's in great condition for it's age - no cracks to the body wood, the neck is straight, adjustable and frets are like new. Nut width is 46mm. I rarely play it anymore and it should get some use! It's never been gigged and comes from a pet and smoke free home.
