Looking for a horse to exercise and go out on hacks on. Must be easy to tack up no bitting or kicking. I'm happy to travel a little bit from my area in Lee-on-the-Solent up to 30 mins away. Clydesdale x shire mare, heavy horse, weight carrier

Clydesdale x shire mare, 6 years old, only recently haltered and started handling, 17.1hh or so, she now leads, ties up, loads and catches with a bucket(some days I dont need a bucket), she needs more time spent doing the basics, we have had her feet up but until she is lifting daily I feel this is a not progressing as fast as it could, she is kind natured but genuinely green and big! if you are nervous or novice please do not contact me as you will not be offered her, she will thrive in a routine with a knowledgeable and experienced person who understands the requirements of an unhandled horse of this size. She has been in a herd environment which is not ideal as it means she gets less one to one and the others are all super petted and squish her out the way. She will make a fantastic riding type, big leggy type of heavy, passported and wormed and now fed a little hard feed each morning, she is also still living out. A lovely project who will have a lot to give to anybody putting the time in that she needs. She has bred a foal which can be seen, excellent mother would be a lovely broodmare. I'm looking for a horse for hacking mostly alone, occasional local showing and prelim dressage, nothing serious just fun. Although I'm a experienced home/ rider I'm not so brave anymore so no bucking, rearing, napping, spinning etc. I don't mind forward going, strong or little spooky as I rather enjoy a forward thinking horse. Must be good in all traffic. I have a yard with stables and plenty of all year round turnout with other horses (all geldings) for company. Erin is a full up 17.3hh 9 year old Irish draught cross skewbald mare. She is a very big impressive girl who will carry just about anybody. She has no vices and is very sweet to handle good to catch and loves a fuss would suit husband wanting to hack with his wife. Hacks alone or in company but prefers company as this is what she is used to. Cheap to keep lives on fresh air, snaffle mouth at all times and doesn't get fizzy or silly good in open spaces. For Sale lovely mare Kia, Kia is a chunky 16hh bay mare with 4 white socks and a blaze, she is 21 years old but you really wouldn't believe it as she is a nice forward going ride while being safe and sensible, she has been owned for just over 2 years and has been used as a happy hacker as that is what i wanted from her, she is capable of more. She can be left for a week and just tacked up and off you go, She does hack alone but does prefer company, she is good on the road with a range of vechials. She is good to clip, bath, farrier, vet,load ect Even tho Kia is safe and sensible she is a big strong horse so would not be suitable for a novice. Her price is £800 ono,tack is negotiable.
