Horse of a lifetime!

Mr T (Taylor) is a gorgeous, 16,1hh, weight carrying, 10yo. He's as near to perfect as they come, hacks out front or back and has never batted an eyelid! He schools, walk, trot and canter, and will jump anything in front of him. Has hunted, XC, show jumped and showed at local level. He's no speed demon but tries his heart out, and always puts a smile on his riders face. Taylor like any horse has his quirks, he is head shy round strangers, but after a ride wants a cuddle! Also due to my location I've never hacked him alone, but can't see why he wouldn't. Hes up to date with his jabs, teeth and feet. Has very strong feet, so is kept barefoot at the minute. One of the hardest decisions of my life but i am putting my wonderful 16.2hh Irish draught X tb up for sale. I have owned Ronnie for 2 years now and he has brought my riding on so much! He is one in a million. He is brilliant in everyway (load, farrier etc.) He is 110% with any kind of traffic but he can be spooky with everything else (plastic bags and things you wouldnt really expect). He is a ex hunter so will jump just about anything whether he likes it or not he will not stop, although he is great at jumping i would prefer he didnt go to a home where he will be doing lots of jumping. He is NOT a novice ride as can be a cheeky monkey or a stubborn one but once you tell him who is boss he is great. He is 16 years old but thinks he is about 6! He is an absolute poppet and this is such a sad sale. He would suit someone who is experienced and wanting a fun hack or possibly an experienced mother/daughter share. Approx 16.2hh registered mw-Hw Irish Draught x Friesian Gelding. Bought as a foal from Ireland. Now 5 yrs old. He is excellent in all ways. Lives in or out in a mixed herd. Very good do-er and easy in all ways. Excellent to box, shoe,clip, bath and catch. Absolutely Loves a fuss and is a very friendly happy chap. There are two kinds of Chesterfields- the mass produced ones that last 5-10 years and then the original high-end constructions, designed to last a lifetime or two ! These are the latter: solid hardwood frames to ensure longevity; arms, backs and seats all coil sprung and extensively buttoned; screwed and stitched leather, rather than staple gunned and glued. These are statement pieces. Genuine 4 seaters i.e. with 4 individual seats are rare. I cannot find any other examples on the internet. They were the most expensive items of furniture on sale in Ponsford's Furniture Department store in (Sheffield's premier furniture store est. ). Since then they have only had one careful lady owner. There is nothing really comparable in terms of quality and craftsmanship I have been able to locate. Consider for example Ponsford's current Chesterfield-style Halo Chester 3 seater (£ each) - no doubt quality for today but frankly no comparison with what was available (albeit at a huge price) 35 years ago. The urgent need to de-clutter the house prior to putting the property on the market prompts this sale (they originally came from a larger property). I also have foot stools and arms chairs in the same style for sale advertised elsewhere which, owing to lack of use, are in amazing condition for their age.
