Horse for sale as a light hack/ showing or companion horse.

I have a beautiful 8 year old 15.2h Thoroughbread X gelding for sale as a light hacking horse/ show horse or a field companion. He loves people and adores hugs and being pampered. He can live outdoors or will happily stable as he loves to lie down and fall asleep. If used as a companion horse he would be fine being left in a field or stable alone as long as he had something to occupy him e.g. a hay net / grass. He has lived with both mares and gelding and in large mixed herds too. He can be anxious at times around busy yards and worries if things approach him quickly/ noisily from behind. He has just being brought back into work after having had time off due to a right fore lameness issue. Vets advise he is used for light hacking, showing or as a companion horse now. He has definitely got a WoW factor and turns heads wherever he goes. However he is a very sensitive horse and needs a experienced rider / handler that can reassure him when he gets tense and guide him. This is my 6 year old new forest 14.2 gelding I got thunder to hack and he's a 100% he loves nothing more than to be out hacking,we go In to the woods every outher day he will safely & happily go over styles to get in and have a canter up the track he has very good brakes and stops when u tell him, we go to beach in summer he's the same there, nothing bothers him while we're out the odd time if he is unsure of some thing he will just stop to see what it is like all horses,every morning we hack past a site we're they are building houses so there are digger trucks loud machinery ect and he doesn't bother he really is a great hacker!!!!I do take him in the sand schoool when I can't get out hacking but he finds it boring and his mind drifts he might try stoping at gate or in the corners he is defiantly not a school master if that is what u are looking for,not that I'm ruling it out as when u teach him some thing he picks it up easy but I didn't want him for that,he's a great jumper and also enjoys that,in the stable he's good when you tack him up I tie him with I do with any horse/pony as he'd prob walk of!!!!! He goes from and to the field perfect no pushing or pulling and will wait for you to take of his head collar my 10 year old boy will take him out no problem, he will put his head in to head collar when you go to his stable he's a softie, He is bare foot he doesn't need shoes he has good solid feet, he only has 2 nets a day and one scoop of feed fresh water and his rug on (which I would give u) and he's happy as Larry x Read More

Happy hacker/light school gelding for sale Trotter x 13.3 hands Tri-coloured 12 year old Jonty is a lovely boy with a cheeky personality. Jonty can mainly be used as a happy hacker due to previous lameness issues; has had the all clear from the vets and can have vets name and number on request. He is by no means a novice/ first pony, he would suit a confident light teenager/ second pony as he can be quick and sharp. He is great to hack out with company, has hacked over motorway bridges and cantered threw fields never strong or silly. Spirit is your very typical thoroughbred! He gets stressed out easily and does not hold his weight through winter! Saying this he is also the sweetest horse ever. I have owned spirit for 4 years and within this time we have competed in dressage, showjumping and cross country. Due to his age I am only selling him as a happy hack and low level dressage horse, he will happily jump a few jumps for fun but he does get quite stiff in he hocks of too much has been done. As I have mentioned he is quite a stressy horse, he isn't the biggest fan of being in the stable and will box walk and tries to weave, he can be quite bolshy so needs an owner who is not afraid to take charge and tell him what's what. When undersaddle he is the perfect gentle man, he is 100% anyone's ride, he will hack alone but will call out for majority of the ride but won't cause you any hassle is literally just calls out, he is perfect in company and I can just walk him buckle end for majority of the ride. There isn't much that he is afraid of, he has hacked down the busiest of roads seeing big artic lorries (he gets a little nervous if they overtake him but doesn't do anything silly) and speeding cars. He isn't afraid of other animals like cows sheep and pigs. His biggest downfall is tractors, he is terrified of them. Once he has settled into a yard and with the other horses he is such an easy horse to deal with, sometimes you forget that he is even there, but it does take a while for him to get comfortable, he is best suited in a herd as he does get attached if he is only in a pair, when In a larger group he will quite happily be left in the field on his own of all other horses need to come in. For sale sports horse gelding 16hh, 10 year old. I decided to retire Charlie from competing last year as he seems to like to have a slower pace in life so has been turned away and living in the field since last August. I have another horse I compete and paying two lots of livery is proving quite expensive. How ever much I would love to keep him I feel now is the time to sell him for Some one else to enjoy him.
