Hofner Senator late 50s/early 60s Archtop guitar. Acoustic and electric pickups installed by previous owner for some reason. Set up for D standard tuning (every string tuned a whole tone down) would need resetting up to take the tension of standard tuning. Comes with Hiscox Lifelite hard case.

In need of some love and expert attention - a restoration project I'm now resigned I'll not get around to!   This is a real looker and could be a great guitar to play (I tried others like this). given the right expertise. It's not a great player at the moment though!   I'm moderately confident that it's Germanic in origin. Evidence of scratchplate having being in place at some point - holes remain   Red inset on fret board is bona fide and NOT electrical tape! Laquering is crazy paved on much of body and there are lots of scratches and rubbed points but also bags of character Buyer to collect from Bath (BA2) somerset at mutually convenient time.
