Soay sheep starter flock (Unregistered)

Great starter flock for first time sheep owners! Small flock of Soay sheep.Easy care as they shed their fleece so don't require shearing. Economical to keep and excellent sheep to clear scrub land.This flock consists of: 3 x Pure breed soay ewes (mixed age 1-4 years) 1 x unrelated soay ram They are friendly and perfect for first time sheep owners on a small acreage. These sheep are very low maintenance requiring no shearing, have strong feet and need little worming. The ewes are often twin lambers that have never required any help during lambing. These are the easiest sheep breed we have ever kept, they are wonderful to watch and interact with and they are real characters. All bucket trained and handled regularly. Our sheep are pure breed but not registered. There are a mix of colours to choose from and some hornless ewes available if preferred. More ewes and rams available to increase the flock if required, additional ewes £55 and rams £45. It is possible to come and see the flock, looking for good homes only. Starter flock of ryeland sheep

A perfect starter flock of ryeland sheep. Some coloured and some white. The ram is coloured so we do tend to get more coloured lambs. They are a variety of ages from two to five years old and all the ewes have lambed absolutely brilliantly. They are easy to lamb and excellent mothers. They are currently with the ram, so could possibly already be in lamb.. They are a really friendly, hardy breed of sheep and are all bucket trained so really easy to catch.
