Tentatively wanted; plod along cob 15hh ish

Thinking about loaning or LWVTB or buying if right horse came along. I want preferably a gelding, around 15hh, cobby. Could consider smaller if stocky but I am 5'8'' so don't want to look ridiculous! It MUST be safe out hacking as this is all I want to do, not fussed about schooling or jumping. Not worried about age or looks. Maybe something that has retired or ex riding school. reluctant sale due to no suitable facilities to work with her,chunky heavyweight 15hh mare,17 years old,healthy no health issues.happy hacker,lovely to ride.enjoys hacking.great in all traffic,good to load,shoe.,doesnt kick/bite/buck/rear **she can be awkward to catch (20 minutes or so sometimes with help of mints!) though i suspect this may be with just me!! has had a shady past before i bought her,and has been rough handled at some point resulting in trust issues on ground.after a incident with a rug slipping and becoming tangled in her legs i can no longer get a rug near her,or do simple things such as sponge fly spray on her face without her pulling back and galloping off.however my husband can walk straight up to her and catch her no trouble.so i think she connects me to the rug thing..prior to this she had been rugged/handled on the ground by myself fine.i have no facilities at home,no stables/shelters,not even a safe tying up area so finding it difficult to overcome this as when i attempt to she will pull back and gallop off.she needs a experienced handler/rider.tack included. Hugo is for sale through no fault off his own. Due to lack off time with having 2 kids it isn't fair on the horse. Hugo would suit a light adult or a young rider. I bought Cub in April of this year. He was sold as a confidence giving happy hacker. When I tried him, I rode him along a very busy main road and a country lane. He was perfect. However, after bringing him to a busy livery yard, his behaviour has changed and he is not the horse for me, as a nervous rider. He is absolutely bombproof on the roads. He is a true gent on the ground with the farrier & being groomed and pampered! The only problem I have is that sometimes he has a tendency to not want to do as he is being asked & will spin around. Lots of riders would put up with this & sort him out but this isn't what I wanted. He loves to jump. He is very friendly with people & other horses & is currently turned out with mares & geldings. No problem with any farm animals, dogs or farm machinery. I would love Cub to find a 5* home with somebody who will enjoy him not being boring! He needs a confident rider who will keep him busy! Daisy. 8 year old. Passported, vaccinated, wormed. Daisy was driven on all types of roads she then was a broodmare for 2 years. She has now been backed to riding and proving to be a very sweet willing mare. She is forward going, sometimes strong but only ridden in a snaffle. Has been walked around bitless. Daisy is just learning the ropes and trust. She is very genuine. She is fine to load, stable and catch. Can stay barefoot and sound and live in a mixed herd. She will make a wonderful riding horse once finished. All 3 of my horses are currently up for sale. Whichever one is left will be kept to produce further over winter. The only fault I'd say daisy has is she snatches her hooves back when picking them out. This can only improve with time. Daisy will easily carry 14 stone. Suit an experienced rider who wants to ride long hours and cover some ground! Daisy doesn't yet have much style jumping on the lunge but she will jump any filler. Safest 15hh cob!!

Rolo is a 15hh chunky cob, rising 6 years old. He is absolutely bomb proof in any situation! Great with large vehicles, traffic, small animals and children. His brilliant to handle on the ground, will just stand tied up all day being groomed, Literally loads on to a lorry or trailer himself, good to shoe, clip and catch! Never been ill or had any injuries. Hacks alone or in company, doesn't bat an eyelid at anything! even if other horses gallop passed, he would just walk on calmly, would never take off or bolt! He is the safest and steady hack you can ask for. He is still green when schooling, needs a bit of leg to get him going but goes when he needs to. He easily pops over any small jumps/logs etc.. I cannot express enough how safe this boy is! Such a sweet lad with a huge character!
