15hh Welsh Cob

I bought Cub in April of this year. He was sold as a confidence giving happy hacker. When I tried him, I rode him along a very busy main road and a country lane. He was perfect. However, after bringing him to a busy livery yard, his behaviour has changed and he is not the horse for me, as a nervous rider. He is absolutely bombproof on the roads. He is a true gent on the ground with the farrier & being groomed and pampered! The only problem I have is that sometimes he has a tendency to not want to do as he is being asked & will spin around. Lots of riders would put up with this & sort him out but this isn't what I wanted. He loves to jump. He is very friendly with people & other horses & is currently turned out with mares & geldings. No problem with any farm animals, dogs or farm machinery. I would love Cub to find a 5* home with somebody who will enjoy him not being boring! He needs a confident rider who will keep him busy! George is a 9 year old currently working at prelim level. Very polite and sweet horse absolute gem on the ground to lunge, clip, turnout, travel and shoe very easy to manage has lived in with limited turnout and lived out with no change in attitude or behaviour, no vices. He is not a novice ride under saddle, he has three lovely paces and loves his jumping easily jumping a metre course. However he is very sensitive to change, has never bucked or reared but can speed up or shoot forward when unsure therefore needs a confident rider. A great stamp of a pony, beautiful and sweet natured. She was backed just over 12 months ago so is still quite green therefore not a novice ride, however she is quick to learn and eager to please but not a beginners pony. Has schooled next to one of the busiest A roads with lorries and motorbikes travelling at speed and never batted an eye lid. Hacked out over the moors, wide open spaces, never bucked or bolted, seen wild ponies, cows and sheep. Needs reassurance from her rider when out hacking alone. Has fantastic scope over a fence and is very responsive with her schooling once in more regular work. Has established transitions walk, trot and canter and works exceptionally on the Pessoa with self carriage and halt/walk to canter, showing promise for a successful all round career in her future. Honey Bee Brokhalam Lodge, it's with a very heavy heart I am selling my beautiful Honey. This is a totally honest sale. I bought Honey 1 year ago as my first horse. Honey is 12 years old and broken into ride, but since I've had her I've not been able to get a bit in her mouth. She becomes totally distressed so I've been backing her with bitless bridle and doing light work. Honey needs to be with someone who is more experienced then I to bring her on. She is absolutely stunning, loving and very gentle. She is 15hh and very chunky and elegant. I love this horse dearly so will only let her go to experienced loving forever home.
