Traditional quality hardwood cabinet in good condition
This is a high quality cabinet in a traditional style. It was bought new in the late 90s for around £. The cabinet is made from solid quality hardwood - either Brazilian rosewood (most likely) or Honduras mahogany, but I am in the process of getting a more informed opinion on this. It is in two sections, which come apart, making moving and transportation a bit easier. The sections fit securely together. The top section has three glazed lockable doors, and sturdy shelves within. The bottom section has three lockable solid cupboard doors, again with shelves within. The bottom section is wider than the top section, creating a pleasant 'ledge' previously used for ornaments etc..There are nice carved details and good attention to finishing e.g. on the keyholes. The piece is currently wrapped and in storage. The photos above show it unwrapped for photography in its storage space (the blanket is currently separating the top and bottom sections). However, the final photo shows the piece in situ when it was in use in a family home, giving an idea of scale and style. There are a few scuffs near the base but these are difficult to see (they do not come out in photos) and do not spoil the look of the piece. Measurements: Overall Height: 226cm Width: 292cm Depth: 56cm Top section Height: 132cm Depth: 35.5cm I would like to sell the piece quite quickly and am therefore open to offers and negotiation on price. Collection is preferable (from Northumberland), however, I am happy to arrange couriering/delivery at extra cost. Bear in mind that the piece can be separated into two halves as detailed above, reducing the vehicle size needed. Please feel free to contact me with any queries or notifications of interest.
