This Live Edge Ash Handmade Wooden Dining Table has been handcrafted in Norfolk with local Ash wood. Combining bookend matched pieces at just over 2 meters long this large modern dining table, capable of seating 6-8 people, brings together beautiful wood, glass and steel to create an eye catching centre piece for any dining area. At the centre of the Ash table is a 6mm thick custom piece of toughened glass that is recessed into the wood. The glass is removable making it easy to clean and also gives a great view through the table of the X Frame steel legs. The legs themselves are also hand made in Britain. The X frame is made from high quality steel tubing with a brushed steel finish that provides a brilliant contrast to the organic ash table top. These are also recessed into the base of the table ensuring stability and a level surface. The bookend pieces of Ash (1.5” thick) are a stunning example with an intricate grain running parallel down the entire table. Finished in danish oil, the ash is a fantastic colour that accentuates the beautiful wood grain. The legs are easily removable so the table can be transported easily.
