If found in good condition, the high-quality Bakhtiari room size carpets are as good as any Persian city rugs like Heriz or Farahan. Unfortunately, from mid 20th century, the mass production of Bakhtiari carpets, meant decreasing in their quality. This gallery large size antique handmade wool Bakhtiari carpet, however, is a prime example of one of the finer Bakhtiari carpets made circa .
