Antique washstand dated inside, freshly refurbished in Annie Sloan French Linen with Provence internally for a bright contrasting effect. With a delicate stencil motif of a bird in flight painted on the cupboard door. The washstand has been lightly distressed to give a slight worn aged look. Finished with two coats of clear wax to protect & shine. The base of the cupboard has been lined with heatproof mat & a pretty oilcloth, cut to fit which can be removed if preferred. The washstand has a grey marble worktop which has lovely characteristic marble rings & striking patination. The upstand has been fitted with regency style tiles, with a beautiful original copper towel rail on one side with a gorgeous dull patina. The legs sit on four ceramic castors and the marble top lifts off easily for transportation. I can deliver for fuel cost, if the washstand will not fit in your car. Really sad to let it go but I would like to replace it with a French dresser.
