A lovely piece of character furniture - refurbished and painted in Farrow and Ball duck egg blue. Has a rustic distressed finish too. The bureau has two pull out draws and a fold down top. The writing table has a leather pad too. The inside of the bureau has been papered in a Laura Ashley paper. Hand Painted Vintage Oak Dining Table and Chairs

I've stripped and sanded down this solid oak dining table, and hand painted it in Rust-Oleum Antique White, chalky finish furniture paint. It now looks stunning and would look fabulous in a period dining room. I have also finished the six dining chairs, also solid oak, in the same paint. I decided not to wax finish the paintwork, thereby making it a simple task if someone wishes to repaint in a different colour. The top has been sealed with Danish oil. The table measures 195cm long x 152 wide x 75cm high. When the two leafs are dropped the table measures 52cm wide. The middle leaf has a slight split, which we've clamped underneath and which cannot be seen. The cushions and covers are from Marks and Spencer, these are included in the sale. Vintage shabby chic painted distressed duck egg blue green

This lovely vintage chest of drawers is good quality and made of solid pine throughout which has been freshly upcycled/hand painted in a delicious shade of duck egg blue and then distressed to reveal some of the underlying colour and finish and highlight the pretty detail on the brass handles(which are original to the piece) the photos doesn't really give a true representation of the beauty of this colour which has richness and depth and is a little deeper in shade too(the flash has washed it out a tad) The drawers are all framed around their sides and are in a unusual configuration of four smaller ones over two bigger ones. They all run smoothly in and out. This is a charming piece of furniture and could be used in many different situations other than just in the bedroom, in a dining room or living room for display and storage,childs room or even a hallway. Measurements to follow soon, I also have a deco dressing table with mirror painted in the same colour as shown in the final two photos.
