11yo sweet natured, steady and safe gelding. Not a world-beater but a nice friendly family pony who particularly enjoys hacking and jumping. Excellent in all traffic and good in open spaces. FOR SALE - MERLIN h Irish Sports pony Merlin has been there and done it all and he is a very smart looking boy! He’s done all PC activities in his previous home eventing, dressage etc He has Hunted, ride outs, showing etc He is great to be ridden by adults and children, hacks out perfect alone and in company and isn’t worried by any traffic. Fun pony – hack / sponsored rides / all-rounder

Lovely natured LW cob mare for sale, 13.3hh 5yo. Good to do in all ways. Safe and sensible but reasonably forward going, easy and fun ride for most riders but no nervous novices please! Loves to hack, good in traffic and in open spaces, regularly boxes out (loads and travels brilliantly) hacks from home alone or in small group – goes in front, middle or behind. Not strong or nappy, has never bucked, reared, bolted or spun etc. Occasionally has the odd ‘look’/minor spook (she is only 5!) but easily reassured with a pat. Been ridden by various ages and abilities from 12yo confident novice upwards. Fairly low mileage in the school, so not a schoolmistress (again, she is only 5!) but improving every time, very willing and honest attitude to work. Three good active paces, bold over trotting poles but has not yet jumped as not current rider’s forte! Starting to show nice outline in walk and trot, soft snaffle mouth and responsive to aids. Totally unspoilt with all basics ready to build on further – she would be an easy summer project for competent older child/teen, or a fun low maintenance hack to enjoy sponsored rides/pub hacks etc. Very very easy to handle on the ground (my not quite 4yo daughter can lead her to and from the field and groom her) She can be a bit reserved with new people but nothing a carrot and a gentle fuss doesn’t fix! 14.1hh companion or possible light hack!

14.1hh, 10 year old, mare. I got lexi just over 4 weeks ago on lwvtb but unfortunately she’s lame on a circle on the left rein. I can’t afford to keep her as an ornament neither can her owner. Due to this I have no choice but to find her a home as a companion. She might possibly come right in time however I’m not sure. She’s previously done a little bit of everything but somewhere along the line she’s had abit of a set back so she is now a project. When walking her to and from her field I do put a lead rope round her nose as she has bolted once in hand with me however hasn’t done with lead rope and I’d rather carry on how I am then put her at risk of going out on the roads. Loading is a big issue once she’s on she’s perfect but getting her on is hard work and I can only guess she’s had a bad experience. Lexi also does have some scars on one of her back legs but she flew through a 2 stage back in August.
