14.1hh companion or possible light hack!

14.1hh, 10 year old, mare. I got lexi just over 4 weeks ago on lwvtb but unfortunately she’s lame on a circle on the left rein. I can’t afford to keep her as an ornament neither can her owner. Due to this I have no choice but to find her a home as a companion. She might possibly come right in time however I’m not sure. She’s previously done a little bit of everything but somewhere along the line she’s had abit of a set back so she is now a project. When walking her to and from her field I do put a lead rope round her nose as she has bolted once in hand with me however hasn’t done with lead rope and I’d rather carry on how I am then put her at risk of going out on the roads. Loading is a big issue once she’s on she’s perfect but getting her on is hard work and I can only guess she’s had a bad experience. Lexi also does have some scars on one of her back legs but she flew through a 2 stage back in August. Broodmare or companion/ light hack.. 16 hands black Irish

9years mwt mare. She had a strained hind suspensory earlier this year. Is now sound but requires another 6 months off to make sure. Would make a lovely broodmare or companion. She is quiet easy and friendly to do everything with. She lives out with a rug and shelter plus hay. She was an easy ride, good hack and dressage horse. She would not want to jump in the future but light hacking would be fine and I'm sure would give many years if you looked after her. She is good to hack alone, good on busy roads and good with other horses turned out. Good to catch, load, farrier, travel, groom etc. She is offered to a good home at nominal price but would like a nice home for her and preferably someone who will keep her.

Horse for sale as a light hack/ showing or companion horse.

I have a beautiful 8 year old 15.2h Thoroughbread X gelding for sale as a light hacking horse/ show horse or a field companion. He loves people and adores hugs and being pampered. He can live outdoors or will happily stable as he loves to lie down and fall asleep. If used as a companion horse he would be fine being left in a field or stable alone as long as he had something to occupy him e.g. a hay net / grass. He has lived with both mares and gelding and in large mixed herds too. He can be anxious at times around busy yards and worries if things approach him quickly/ noisily from behind. He has just being brought back into work after having had time off due to a right fore lameness issue. Vets advise he is used for light hacking, showing or as a companion horse now. He has definitely got a WoW factor and turns heads wherever he goes. However he is a very sensitive horse and needs a experienced rider / handler that can reassure him when he gets tense and guide him. Joe is a lovely quiet pony, I have owned him for the last 5 years and he has only had one previous owner before me so full history is known. Joe is excellent to hack alone and in company, he is confident in traffic, happy to lead or follow, and good to bath, clip, shoe, box, etc and for the dentist. Will stand all day. He has a great pop in him and happily jumps ditches out hacking. He is a very good doer and can live in or out without a rug. I have endless photographs and videos of Joe all available on request. companion/light hacker She's 13.2h and 22 years old. Unsure of history but we have had her for 2 and a half years and although we promised her a forever home but due to personal circumstances that has changed. She can be lightly hacked and equally happy to be out in the field with some fussing and attention. Doesn't like to be left on her own for too long. When tacking up she can be a bit sassy with the girth. Reassurance that she's not going to get hit helps a lot. She hasn't been ridden since January but she is never fresh when ridden. She's perfect for beginners on lead rein and onto first ridden, very responsive and looks after little people. She has a sensitive mouth and knows how to neck rein. She has been trained by clicks instead of kicks as that's what she responds to best. She is under no circumstances to be jumped. She doesn't like it and will refuse every time. Videos are available of her being ridden by children. This is a very difficult decision and hopefully she can stay at present yard with lots of attention that she deserves. Harry is a 15.3 idxtb 16yr young. He damaged his check ligament 18 months ago, and has been turned away for that time. Ridden lightly last week with no ill effects, ready to bring back into light work. He has missed being ridden, but would need careful bringing back and his muscle building up. Companion/potential light hack

15.1hh chestnut mare, though really is not a typical "chestnut mare" I had this mare as a companion to my old mare, and she is currently a companion to my miniature Shetland who is also her companion. I have only ridden this mare on the roads, and no traffic fazes her, not even a local hunt galloping next to her and she plodded down the road on a long rein! I do not have the time for this mare that she deserves. She is currently sound and would probably enjoy being slowly brought back into work, though this mare has previously been in a riding school I wouldn't recommend a novice to take her on for riding. Saying that I use to hack her from a head collar rather than a bitted bridle. On the ground she is a true dope on a rope. She will stand for hours to be groomed, she has excellent stable and field manners. She's easy to keep and is currently bear foot. She is sold as seen from field. I have a 7 year old thoroughbred gelding, very easy to do once he knows your routine more like a big dog! My circumstances are changing. He's just a happy hack very good in traffic and once he knows the rides he's just a kick along pony. He's currently got a bitless bridle but can have his snaffle back if your more comfortable. Whether you ride him everyday or once every two weeks he's the same. Will come with everything I am also happy to carry on insuring him and help with vet bills Very hard choice to make but I don't want to not have the time for him. He loads into a trailer but hasn't gone anywhere since he we came here 10 months ago. He is the most loving boy you'll ever meet and will become part of the family. He is in Newbury at the moment.
