17hh Hunter/Hack for Sale

17hh, 8yo grey ISH, excellent hack/hunter. Rocky will hack all day in any traffic, snaffle mouthed, not bothered about bikes/buses/lorries and is not a spooky type. He is also an excellent hunter, stands mannerly to be tacked up and mounted, doesn't hot up when you get there, stands at the meet when he's supposed to, jumps what you ask him to, gallops when you want him to, stops when asked (we hunted him in a gag) He is a big horse though so absolutely not suitable for a novice! Would possibly even suit as a hunt masters horse. He will Showjump. However he WILL NOT School in an arena!! He is a hack/hunter really, that is what he enjoys. Up to date with all vaccinations, physio, teeth, shod up front presently, easy with farrier, excellent to load, bath and pretty much do anything with on the ground. He's a real gentleman, manners to die for and will stand and not move a foot all day! He just seems to have had a bad experience in the school 'at some point' and is therefore not suitable as a dressage horse, hence his price otherwise he would have been a fabulous all-rounder. Looking for jumper / Hunter!!

Hiya!, After selling both my horses after 6 nearly 7 years almost 2 years ago Ive decided ive not quite had enough of them!, I need something 16.3 over, and preferably nothing over 10. I dont mind something I need to train and bring on or something with bad habbits as I think it gives us more time to bond before doing the big boys work!, Im located in Northampton, living on a k acre farm which means any horse will be up for a lot of fun.. jumping bails in the summer and just day to day galloping through fields. I have been riding since I was 4, I have had a ISH/TB and an Arab so very much expierienced with the crazy breed, I have broken horses in aswell as bring them on and train for friends over the last 2 years whilst not having my own anymore. Rocky is schooling training level dressage and is a good mover. He is started over fences and is a great jumper. He is good on trails and goes out alone. He is learning super fast, is very willing and honest, is responsive, goes easy on the bit, he is not spooky, no buck or rear and is overall super easy and fun to ride. He gets along with other horses and is fine on his own. He has a super sweet disposition and very calm temperament! He is a 100% amateur and young rider safe.
