We are looking for a part time loaner for our special boy, to be kept on our yard, he is 5 years old and standing approx 14.3 h at the moment, he is a ride and drive, good in traffic, vet, dentist and farrier, good to catch and stands lovely to be bathed and groomed, he rides out in company or alone and worked more hacking out rather than the school, so would require some work in the arena, he is green being a young boy but tries so very hard to please! He can be strong and being so young he will require a knowledgeable loaner who can bring him to his full potential. Heartbreaking sale of a stunning 6year old gypsy cob mare. Dapple grey standing at roughly 14.3hh. She has lots of mane & tail, unfortuneately her feather has got bog burnt due to being turned out but this will soon grow back. Not a nasty bone in her body, but she does know her size. She is sold from the field & lack of time forces sale due to a new baby, this decision hasn't been made lightly but this mare will be something spectacular in the right hands, she has had a foal with previous owners & will be an amazing asset to anyone as a broodmare. She has been used for driving but not been in work for quite sometime due to pregnancy etc. I was planning on using this great mare for not just driving but for riding & also showing. It's with great regret that I am now giving up horses as I just don't have the time to give them what they need & it's so disappointing to see them as field ornaments. She needs a confident experienced owner to bring out the best in her, she isn't for a novice. She has recently had her teeth done, wormed etc. I wouldn't say she loves her baths, she will dance around at first but soon settles down, never silly or dangerous. I was working on desensitising her to this but then winter came & also with the baby again just haven't had the time. She will stand to be groomed, tacked up etc. Whilst with me she has seen farm machinery, dogs, kids etc & didn't put a foot wrong whilst out on country roads. Due to the amount of time she's not been in proper work & been turned out over winter I was planning on starting from scratch with her this spring. Very sad sale of Harley. Very quiet safe young gelding. 14+hh and still growing. 4yr old. Bought for myself as very nervous after serious accident. Sadly for sale as I have pending surgery and am to ill to carry on his education. Harley is a real character and fun to be around. He is quiet to ride and will step up for a more experienced rider.
