DAPPLE GYPSY COB MARE

Heartbreaking sale of a stunning 6year old gypsy cob mare. Dapple grey standing at roughly 14.3hh. She has lots of mane & tail, unfortuneately her feather has got bog burnt due to being turned out but this will soon grow back. Not a nasty bone in her body, but she does know her size. She is sold from the field & lack of time forces sale due to a new baby, this decision hasn't been made lightly but this mare will be something spectacular in the right hands, she has had a foal with previous owners & will be an amazing asset to anyone as a broodmare. She has been used for driving but not been in work for quite sometime due to pregnancy etc. I was planning on using this great mare for not just driving but for riding & also showing. It's with great regret that I am now giving up horses as I just don't have the time to give them what they need & it's so disappointing to see them as field ornaments. She needs a confident experienced owner to bring out the best in her, she isn't for a novice. She has recently had her teeth done, wormed etc. I wouldn't say she loves her baths, she will dance around at first but soon settles down, never silly or dangerous. I was working on desensitising her to this but then winter came & also with the baby again just haven't had the time. She will stand to be groomed, tacked up etc. Whilst with me she has seen farm machinery, dogs, kids etc & didn't put a foot wrong whilst out on country roads. Due to the amount of time she's not been in proper work & been turned out over winter I was planning on starting from scratch with her this spring. Heartbreaking sale of much loved boy! Due to giving up horses! Due to other commitments and daughter loss of intrest come to the decision to give up horses. We don't have the time to give this special boy! Due to work and home commitments etc. He has fantastic breeding, his sire is Abs of Lindale who is world's heaviest silver dapple Gypsy Vann. He turned 4 this year and is approx 14.3 we have been long reining him and he has been hacking and started schooling no problem took to it straight away. We have a professional rider come weekly to school him, he is coming on great just more work on his canter but we haven't rushed this boy! He goes in a natural outline no need to pin this boy down! Fantastic with farrier, vet, dentist etc great to catch etc. His colouring is black silver dapple gypsy vanner. He is stunning and will just get better with age. Will be devastated to let him go had him from when he was weaned but doing this for him he needs to get out and start his ridden/ showing career! Will excel in the show ring! We have took him out a few times but nothing this year due to not having the time! I have owned Libby since she was 4 years old, and I have watched her grow throughout the years and she's turned into a lovely pony. She is not a beginners pony as can be strong at times however she is currently in a snaffle. Libby has a lovely character and she loves to learn new things, she's can be nervous at times but if you are patient with her she will do as asked. I have taken Libby showjumping in the past and she was brilliant, we did a 40cm clear round, however she has jumped 55cm at home. Although Libby has loads of pros to her she also has a few cons.
