This will mainly be in the evenings and weekends. Work will be offered on a self-employed basis as and when it comes in. The applicant must be at least 21 years of age and hold a relevant degree in music and a minimum 2 year's teaching experience. The teacher will be expected to devise and deliver lesson plans to students of all ages and abilities, and a high level of music theory is required. Ability to support students through Rock School or RGT grades 1-8 is required, although support can be provided with this. This post is advertised with a view for the successful applicant to begin after the October half-term. This post would suit somebody who is able to commit to several hours a week in the evenings and at weekends initially (this is likely to increase after Christmas). The post will be held on a contract renewable each half-term, with the exact number of hours to be confirmed 2 weeks prior to the beginning of each half-term. A minimum amount of hours is not guaranteed.
