Simms watts trying to get modern, transistorised preamp, so all the control options that offers, like graphic eq, and a valve power section for that warmth. Kind of think this is a bass head, 100w is too much for guitar, but guitarists use 100w heads all the time, so can consider it either. This has been serviced by SMP Artizan, who I can't link, so guess google them, new caps and such so it is low noise and stable. Beautiful Peavey ValveKing Watt Guitar Amplifier in absolutely mint condition - almost as new! Originally cost over £500 with £££s spent since then! Open to sensible offers! It has spent its whole life in my house and has never really been past the bottom couple of volume settings on the dial! Every switch and dial works perfectly. Each time it has been used it has been powered on first, allowed to warm up and then used as normal. This allows the valves to prepare for use without the possibility of power surges. The vinyl is in perfect condition, the mesh is as new without rips or scrapes and the faceplate is unmarked. You will be buying what is essentially a brand new amp! Both the power and preamp valves have been replaced last year with high quality, uprated versions from JJ, Tung-Sol, Electro Harmonix and General Electrics at a cost of nearly £150! This has really given the set a new lease of life, providing a much richer tone with sparkly high notes and more rounded bass. The electrics have been fully checked over and the two speakers have been reseated. I honestly cannot emphasise this enough: this unit is almost like brand new! Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier Rectoverb 50 Watt Valve Combo Amplifier

Those of you who know about Mesa Boogie amps will know, but to the uninitiated there is a a powerhum, all Mesas sound like this, it would be more suspicious if there was not, they also weigh a ton, there that is the easy bit out of the way to stop anyone coming along and wasting my time and their own:o) I have had this for three years, the person I bought it from had it regularly serviced, it sounds incredible and it is sold with much regret, but it is not practical for me, I can't find any other any other accolades for other than it is a proper Mesa when they cared about what they made.
