For sale is a Marshall DSL 40C amplifier, I have had this for approximately 12 months and it is in pristine condition. I have never gigged this amp it has only been used at home. The new DSL Series retains the classic Marshall valve tone (driven by EL34 and 6V6 valves) from amps like the JCM, but puts it into a series of modern amps that will suit nearly everybody's needs and, importantly, their budgets too. This DSL40C is a mid-sized combo within the new DSL range. The new DSL 40w combo features a 12" Celestion speaker and a pentode/triode switch which takes power output down by 50% making the DSL40C much more versatile in terms of where and when you can use it. Marshall Class 5 combo (rare red tolex)

This Marshall class 5 all valve 5 watt combo in an absolute belter! This particular amp was factory finished in red tolex as a special order. Has that great Marshall crunchy tone & has been fitted with a special valve to eliminate the rattle that these amps can suffer from. The output valve is a Russian Sovtec NOS EL84M. The M stands for military! As these valves were made in the early s as a high spec version of the EL84 for the Russian military. The valve has very robust internals and therefore does not rattle like standard EL84s do when the amp is turned up. Great little amp with amazing tone. Will be sad to see it go.
