We have for sale a Male Green Cheeked Conure who is about 6 years old. He lost his mate about 6 months ago and as we couldn't find him a female, of about the same age, we brought him indoors and he has been treated as a pet for the last few months. He is not hand tame but is getting friendlier every month. His cage has an opening top and he is very happy just playing around his cage on the outside most of the day. Luna is a three year old Green Cheek Conure. He has a very good disposition and is very friendly. We haven't dedicated the time to train him properly though he will sit on your hand, give you kisses, blow kisses, generally go wherever you tap and he doesn't bite. With more time and attention we're sure he would be a fantastic companion - but sadly with changing work commitments we can't spend the time with him that he deserves and although it's been a difficult decision we decided his quality of life was more important than our desire to keep him. ACCESSORIES: With the sale we are including an excellent Liberta Ventura cage, a custom made nesting box (which he sleeps in), new Aspen bedding, hanging bed (if you prefer this to the custom built nesting box), pummel perches, all his toys, wood perches (including Java wood perch), remaining sunflower seed, bird seed, cuttle fish, water feeders and travel cage. Basically EVERYTHING he needs and you need to make his transition to his new home as smooth and stress free as possible. Green cheek conure, pineapple mutation. 7 months old and unsexed (referred to as male though). "He" is hand tame and loves to sit on your shoulder but can be fairly nippy with fingers. I have bonded with this bird and it is a very regretful sale. He is a one-person bird and keeps biting my husband and children and so I now can't let him out of the cage as often as he needs which is unfair to him:(Not very noisy at all really although can have his moments like all birds can! He won't eat pellets and isn't too keen on veg (apart from leafy greens, carrots baby corn) but will eat fruit readily. Comes with large cage and accessories as seen in photos, plus bag of seed. Tame Green Cheek Conure with cage in Leicester

We are sadly looking for a new home for Pop. She (we are not certain of gender) is around 16 months old. We had two birds until one recently passed away. We are not willing to adopt another bird and we do not feel we can give Pop the attention she needs as an only bird. Pop is tame and is happy to ride around on your shoulder and nibble your ears and lips. However, she does not seem to like children. She does not like to be shut inside her cage (we leave the cage door open unless we are going out) and needs to go to someone who is at home during the day.
