Green Cheek Conure Beautiful colours.It is an un-sexed bird I called Ruby.The cage is new and comes with all accessories including a catching net which I only bought 3 weeks ago never used. My dog is very jealous and will not leave it alone this is causing distress to the bird and so I have to find it a new home.She is untamed due to the short time I have had her,taming takes time and trust.

We are sadly looking for a new home for Pop. She (we are not certain of gender) is around 16 months old. We had two birds until one recently passed away. We are not willing to adopt another bird and we do not feel we can give Pop the attention she needs as an only bird. Pop is tame and is happy to ride around on your shoulder and nibble your ears and lips. However, she does not seem to like children. She does not like to be shut inside her cage (we leave the cage door open unless we are going out) and needs to go to someone who is at home during the day. He lost his mate about 6 months ago and as we couldn't find him a female, of about the same age, we brought him indoors and he has been treated as a pet for the last few months. He is not hand tame but is getting friendlier every month. His cage has an opening top and he is very happy just playing around his cage on the outside most of the day. We haven't dedicated the time to train him properly though he will sit on your hand, give you kisses, blow kisses, generally go wherever you tap and he doesn't bite. With more time and attention we're sure he would be a fantastic companion - but sadly with changing work commitments we can't spend the time with him that he deserves and although it's been a difficult decision we decided his quality of life was more important than our desire to keep him. I have bonded with this bird and it is a very regretful sale. He is a one-person bird and keeps biting my husband and children and so I now can't let him out of the cage as often as he needs which is unfair to him:(Not very noisy at all really although can have his moments like all birds can! We have a beautiful conure that we need to find a new forever home. We have just recently had a baby and as hard as we have tried to include our bird Ziggy, he just hasn't accepted the baby, and makes a lot of noise to wake her up. With the right new owner I know Ziggy will be happy and get all the time and attention he deserves. We also can't have him out his cage with out risk he will attempt to bite out baby. Ziggy is still only a baby himself (we are not sure if he is male) the breeder we brought him from supplied a hatch certificate and a care sheet, which we have but it was sent electronically and can be forwarded on to the new owner. Ziggys hatch date is and has been hand tamed and some one who can dedicate some time to Ziggy will have a great loving pet.
