THERE IS A MUSIC SHEET HOLDER THAT FOLDS AWAY WHEN NOT IN USE IN THR MAIN TOP OF THE PIANO WHERE THE LID LIFTS. THE PIANO IS ON WHEELS. THERE ARE TWO PEDALS AT THE BASE OF THE PIANO FOR CHANGIMG THE SOUND OF THE MUSIC. THIS WOULD BE PERFECT TO BRING BACK MEMORIES FROM AN ERA THAT HAS SADLY GONE BY. COLLECTION ONLY DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE PIANO THIS TYPE AND DESIGN OF PIANO ARE WHAT WERE AROUND IN THE PUBS IN WAR TIME AND MANY A GREAT SING SONG WAS HAD BY THEM. the only faults with the piano are that 3 of the white keys and 4 of the black dont make a sound but the strings attached to them in the body of the piano move when the keys are depressed. i have made enquires with a piano repair company and these can be repaired.the right pedal has a small hole in it near the front and there are fine scratch marks on it that can be polished out. THIS BEAUTIFULLY STYLES PIANO HAS MANY LOVELY FEATURES AND IS FROM THE DAYS GONE BY WHEN THEY USE TO STAND ROUND THE PIANO AND HAVE A SING SONG. INSIDE THE LID A MUSIC SHEET HOLDER PULLS OUT SO THAT YOUR MUSIC CAN BE SEATED ON THERE WHILE YOU PLAY. THIS WOULD BE AN IDEAL PIANO FOR SOMEONE WHO IS JUST LEARNING THE PIANO OR IT WOULD MAKE AN IDEAL FEATURE RUBBED DOWN AND GIVEN THAT SHABBY CHIC LOOK. THERE ARE A FEW SCRATCHES ON ONE SIDE AND IT WILL NEED TUNING. 7 OF THE KEYS DO NOT WORK AT PRESENT BUT I HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH A PIANO SPECIALIST AND HE SAID THAT AS THE KEYS ARE STILL ATTACHED TO THE WIRES IT WOULD BE REPAIRABLE THERE IS A LITTLE BIT OF METAL MISSING FROM ONE OF THE FOOT PEDALS.

Upright Piano and Adjustable Piano Stool in Waltham Forest

Boyd London Upright Piano and adjustable black piano stool going free. It's a good and solid upright piano that has been taken care of and loved for 3 years. It's no Steinway but has great character and has a decent tone once tuned. It has been tuned regularly and has had an overhaul (including some new felts replaced). It is in good working order and great fun to play. It would make a great piano for a family, a beginner or a good all rounder for a church hall, pub or school. I can get it out my front door but cannot transport it any further than the pavement outside my house. It has a cast iron frame and is very very heavy: will need at least 2 or 3 sturdy people to move it. Piano removals recommended!
