VERY SAD SALE AND DUE TO NO FAULT OF THE HORSE!! Golly is a gorgeous 16y/o, 16,1hh thoroughbred gelding. He is an ex-eventer (that had a serious eventing career), schoolmaster who is being sold as a happy hacker! Due to Golly's big eventing career, it has resulted in him being arthritic in his hocks which is why he is being sold for hacking and will not be interested in those looking to do lots more with him. Golly is a wonderful horse to hack, doesn't spook, good in traffic, hacks alone and in company and is a joy to ride!! Would suit a slightly more confident rider. Boysie is a 14hh, 15 yr old X cob with loads of love to give. Boysie has done some X country,unaffiliated dressage and jumping in the past however we would now like him to be sold on for the quieter life of hacking or as a companion pony. He is the kindest of gentleman who just loves attention. I would say he's not a complete novice ride as he can be strong at times. He is fab in the heaviest of traffic and is used to being around children and dogs. Boysie is great to shoe, with the dentist and is fully up to date with his vaccinations. He has travelled alone and in company on the horse box with no issues. He did go through a period of being difficult to load but we have had no problems lately. He can live in or out but needs to be rugged up in the winter months. Boysie has been in fields with both mares and geldings with no problems.
