Gorgeous ANTIQUE PINE with leather desk

This is a gorgeous antique pine desk with a red leather insert on the desk surface. It's beautiful but in need of TLC. You can see the quality of the build and joins from the photos and the lovely scalloped and knob brass handles. We don't have the keys for the desk drawers and you can see the leather is worn on the top. The desk top sits on the two sides of drawers so it comes very easily apart for transportation. This would come up wonderfully with some wire wool and polish, and would make a lovely 'restoration' project for someone (replace the leather and do a few repairs to the pine where it is needed). We had intended to do this ourselves as this is a family piece that has been handed down, but unfortunately our new house will not fit this piece in so we are looking to sell it to someone who can see its potential. Antique Victorian (pine ?) tall desk with storage inside

A beautiful and unusual item. A tall desk with a hinged, sloped desk top with storage space inside and a small flat shelf along the back of the top with a lip to keep things in place; which is great for positioning items such as a light. Really wonderful for writing or for a writer/artist wanting to create a small corner at home to work in. Solid antique wood, I would guess Victorian, but that is a guess. I'm not sure what type of wood but it has a good weight to it. Needs to be seen to be properly appreciated. I am sad to be selling it but I don't have space to store it. Collection only. I bought it in an antique shop not far from here and am selling it for less than I paid, so I believe this is a good price for it. Ikea Computer Desk - Leksvik, pine with antique stain, discontinued

This desk it's a discontinued line from Ikea. They do still sell Leksvik products but not this desk. We've had it for over 10 years so it's got the usual wear and tear, but the drawer still works and opens/closes properly. There's a circle on the desk top where the old computer monitor used to sit so it's where the rest of the desktop changed colour due to being in sunlight. It's a good piece of flatpack furniture to have lasted this long! We've used it as a computer desk, but it would make a great hall table or dressing table. A wee bit of sanding and a coat or two of stain/paint and it'd be as good as new. Being sold to make room for a newer, smaller desk.
