Gorgeous 16.3hh thoroughbred mare

Gorgeous thoroughbred mare for sale through no fault of her own. She will only go to a 5* home as she is very special!! 14 years old, raced once as a youngster. Has a scar on back leg from an accident 10 years ago so could not do showing sadly, but it does not effect her soundness or ability in any way. Jumps anything you face her at, showjumping and cross country, is bold and scopey. She is good under saddle, however not suitable for a novice as she is forward going and can be impatient. A novice has ridden her previously however she was in regular work & at the moment is only being ridden as and when. Lovely big shoulders and big movements, she is soooo comfy and feels safe because there is so much in front of you, she feels powerful - someone will have a cracking horse! However, all the good parts aside, she is the grumpiest mare I've ever met.... she is not one bit affectionate, she will threaten to kick you if you touch her past her shoulders. However tacking her up and rugging her is generally not an issue. She treats me with respect as she knows she cannot push me around, but other people on the yard I have to be careful off as she will take the mickey if they try to stroke her etc. She has never actually kicked me, it's just a threaten but I would not want to say that she will never kick you as I've never put myself in that position. Good as gold out hacking etc, not spooky. Good to load and travel, and stands patiently at shows. I'm happy to have multiple viewings on her before you decide if you'd like her but sadly I'm not in the position to offer a trial period sadly. For sale! Lady loulou (loulou) registered Welsh section D 4 year old mare. Loulou has been lightly backed and is beginning to understand the basic aids though still understandably green. She has taken to ridden work brilliantly and will make someone a cracking horse with further education. She is still a fairly blank canvas as has spent most of her life turned away due to my lack of time. She has always wintered out rugless only having hay during snow/really harsh weather and has always come out of winter looking amazing. She comes to call, is good to catch, groom and trim and has had her feet cut back a few times.
