15.1hh Registered WPCS Section D Mare For Sale in Neath

Gwen is a traditional stamp of a section D mare. Leg in each corner type, born . Gwenllian has been on the farm with us for a number of years now, broken in by myself. We decided to breed her last year and she has produced me a lovely big quality strong colt that we've decided to run on in a few years. Foal is now weaned and the mare is ready to start back slowly her ridden work. She has hunted with myself - good on the field, not strong, good around hounds. At home she was hacking out alone & in company / not a kicker, and has always been good in traffic (we are on a bus route). Excellent to box, lives in and out, has been clipped in the past with me but not recent. Gwen is a nervous kind of mare, she can be good to catch in big fields - if and when she has a bond with you. The more time you spend with her, the better she is and with the bond will come across as a complete different mare. I definitely don't get to spend the amount of time with her as we'd both like as the yard is full of horses at the moment. She is a little underweight at the moment (For my liking) due to the foal & stress of weaning, but by no means least is she underweight. (I like mine in constant show condition) Gwen will be your typical allrounder type - no novices as she does need to be brought into work quietly as she has been out of ridden work for approx. 1yr 7 months. Would make an ideal stud mare for any future breeders as she gives the bone she has to her young stock. I am searching for tess. 15.2 thoroughbred x cob. She was sold about 9 years ago from the Manchester area near oldham and if she is still with us would be 27 years of age. She was sold with everything she owned and also had a paper clipping of her race horse grandfather who had the white face also. She was freeze marked 5A7L and I would just like to know of her whereabouts and if she is still with us and how she's been. Any info would be amazing.
