5* Home required for Welsh X Gelding in Sheffield

Oscar is an 8YO Strawberry Roan, 14.3hh, Welsh Cross Gelding. Through no fault of this own, Oscar has not been pushed to his full potential this year and as a result he is up for sale and a 5* home is the most important thing required for him. Oscar has been with me for four years and has competed at regular shows. He has three lovely paces and a strong jump however, he requires someone who is able to push him to his full potential as I do not have the time. He has competed in and around the Sheffield area for a local riding society and has always placed. Oscar has taken part in Show Jumping, Cross Country and Dressage. As a pair we also took part in Pony Club for a year and did mostly flat work workshops where he always excelled. Oscar is not a novice ride as he requires someone with experience to be able to point him in the right direction. Oscar also is willing to hack alone and in company. Oscar has a half set of shoes and is not a problem with the farrier, dentist or vet. He is currently up to date with shoes, vaccinations and the dentist. Oscar is not nasty or silly however can sometimes be head strong on the ground, though this is in working progress and his manners are becoming better. He does not barge from stables or paddocks and is good to load, groom and bath. I have previously had Oscar clipped but can sometimes be nervous. He is very eager to please, he has never bucked, reared or bolted with me. He has been previously based on a working farm and was around tractors all the time. He requires someone with time and attention to be able to build a relationship with him. He is willing to work and has proved this within the four years of me having him. Very sad sale due to lack of time, long term home is far more important than price. He requires someone with experience and knowledge and patience to help push him to further develop his abilities and lead him forward. 10 year old super pony for sale. Ideal leadrrein or second pony. Previously used as a scurry racer/driving pony and was used in a riding school also. Stunning rising 5 year old gelding for sale. Registered Welsh Section D with green passport. Super to groom, catch, rug and box and bath etc. Turns out with mares and geldings, also livestock, sheep and cattle. Happy to live in or out. No vices. Broken to drive at the beginning of the year, he took to it like a duck to water, seen all types of traffic and been around our local town. He's been out alone and in company. He has also been lightly backed to ride over the summer. He's been turned out since August therefore being sold from the field. He's currently got a lightweight rug on just to keep the weather off which will be included in the sale.
