Handsome grey gelding is looking for someone to share 3/4 days a week. He is on livery but needs a rider who can support his dressage training; as he competes. Although he is a true gentleman he does need someone to support his dressage work as he is trained by a professional rider. Sorry no jumping as he has retired from this. Days can be negotiable and a chance to take our to compete for the right person. He is stabled at a great yard with his instructor on site so the chance to have lessons would be encouraged to ensure that he is keeping you with his flat work. 5* Home required for Welsh X Gelding in Sheffield

Oscar is an 8YO Strawberry Roan, 14.3hh, Welsh Cross Gelding. Through no fault of this own, Oscar has not been pushed to his full potential this year and as a result he is up for sale and a 5* home is the most important thing required for him. Oscar has been with me for four years and has competed at regular shows. He has three lovely paces and a strong jump however, he requires someone who is able to push him to his full potential as I do not have the time. He has competed in and around the Sheffield area for a local riding society and has always placed. Oscar has taken part in Show Jumping, Cross Country and Dressage. As a pair we also took part in Pony Club for a year and did mostly flat work workshops where he always excelled. Oscar is not a novice ride as he requires someone with experience to be able to point him in the right direction. Oscar also is willing to hack alone and in company. Oscar has a half set of shoes and is not a problem with the farrier, dentist or vet. He is currently up to date with shoes, vaccinations and the dentist. Oscar is not nasty or silly however can sometimes be head strong on the ground, though this is in working progress and his manners are becoming better. He does not barge from stables or paddocks and is good to load, groom and bath. I have previously had Oscar clipped but can sometimes be nervous. He is very eager to please, he has never bucked, reared or bolted with me. He has been previously based on a working farm and was around tractors all the time. He requires someone with time and attention to be able to build a relationship with him. He is willing to work and has proved this within the four years of me having him. Very sad sale due to lack of time, long term home is far more important than price. He requires someone with experience and knowledge and patience to help push him to further develop his abilities and lead him forward. Looking for a sharer for our 2 16 year old arab geldings. Both are lovely safe horses, just need someone to help exercise them a few times a week. We don't have a school on our farm, but there are plenty of bridle ways and quiet roads to hack them out on. You can ride them in our fields in the drier months. One is 15.1hh and one is 14.3hh. Sharer for 14hh cob gelding

Bertie is our gorgeous mother daughter share cob gelding who we have owned for 2 years. He is currently in work 4-5 days per week schooling, hacking and natural horsemanship games/sessions however my daughter is not doing as much as hoped and I'm finding it difficult to keep up the work I think Bertie needs to bring him on. Bertie is kept at Southview yard just outside Wellingborough. It has miles of off road hacking including a nice long strip to gallop up, and a flood lit ménage. There are lots of people to hack with and the potential to join the yard parelli group. I am looking for someone who wants to work with Bertie at least 2 days per week, who is no more than 11.5 stone in weight, and who is happy to ride in a treeless saddle. You will also need rider insurance please, which I will check. Payment to made monthly in advance. We can agree set days or I can be totally flexible depending on what you want to do. Bertie can occasionally spook when out hacking, particularly if alone, although he tends to jump to the side or forward and comes back to listen pretty quickly. However, he can nap if you try a route he's not so familiar with and therefore needs firm direction from his rider. When schooling he will try to get away with minimum effort as he's pretty laid back and chilled out. However, he can move beautifully and be relaxed and forward if you are firm but sensitive with him. I wouldn't say he's a born jumper so if jumping is your thing you will need to work at it to develop him with this. He's had both my kids and my kids' novice friends on him and I am happy to have my 11 year old daughter hack him out around the open fields with me walking/running beside. Sharer for beautiful 15.3hh cob gelding

No set days, no yard/stable chores, come up once a week or every day, completely up to you! I am looking for someone who is into natural horsemanship (like me) is patience, kind but confident and experienced with horses. You also need to be lightweight (under around 11stone) due to Sonnys age. About Sonny: Sonny is a rising 4 year old big cuddly doofus! He is a real sweet heart and doesn't have a bad bone in his body. He is barefoot and bitless, and lives out 24/7 on my tack system livery (Abbotts View Livery: Barefoot and Back to Nature). He is excellent on the ground to have his feet done, be tacked up, be groomed, stand for the equine podiatrist, vet etc. He was lightly backed this summer and is riding away nicely. Has just learnt to trot with a rider and always tries despite his lack of balance! He is certainly more 'woah' than go, and due to his age I don't want him doing any more than going out for little walking hacks with the odd trot, or plodding about the fields. If you are really into riding, I have another horse, Buckthorn, a 14.2hh 6 year old that you would be able to have a proper hack/canter on if you fancied it once in a while and as Sonny progresses, I would like to take the two of them out in my trailer to the local woods for hacks.
