For sale is a banjo resonator. Bird's eye maple and in good condition, Inside diameter 12.5 inches and the Inside diameter of the 4 small wooden chucks is 10.5 inches. These chucks can be removed or altered. There is also the attachment for the middle threaded piece which goes on the banjo stick under the skin. Forgot to show it in photo but it is there. £60 plus postage at cost. probably £7. This is a really nice resonator. Also for sale an old tenor banjo case which is quite deep and, as photo shows, would hold a banjo with this resonator. Has 'Vega Little Wonder' on a sticker.    Old Style 30s/40s Banjo Resonator      Description & Details This auction is for an Old Style 30s/40s Banjo Resonator, Slightly convex back, diameter is just over 12". Looks like it's a maple or similar type wood, with ebony supports. I have no idea what make of banjo its came from, It was in a box with a bunch of stuff i bought about twenty five years ago. Should fit any open back frailer or old Jazz style Tenor banjo with a 10" rim, although you would need to fit a small bracket/nut attached to the rimstick to accept the retaining screw. My 10" open back Tubaphone frailer sits perfectly on it...and it does snap the sound up a bit. There are seven small holes on the back, which look like may have originally been for small screws or maybe inlay, your guess is as good as mine....but they dont affect anything and could be filled in.
