Old 30s/40s Style Banjo Resonator
Old Style 30s/40s Banjo Resonator     Description & Details This auction is for an Old Style 30s/40s Banjo Resonator, Slightly convex back, diameter is just over 12". Looks like it's a maple or similar type wood, with ebony supports. I have no idea what make of banjo its came from, It was in a box with a bunch of stuff i bought about twenty five years ago. Should fit any open back frailer or old Jazz style Tenor banjo with a 10" rim, although you would need to fit a small bracket/nut attached to the rimstick to accept the retaining screw. My 10" open back Tubaphone frailer sits perfectly on it...and it does snap the sound up a bit. There are seven small holes on the back, which look like may have originally been for small screws or maybe inlay, your guess is as good as mine....but they dont affect anything and could be filled in. I only post Items signed for and Insured. Postage costs shown are for United Kingdom only. Overseas will be more, I only charge what the Post Office charge me, and will provide a receipt for postage costs if requested. DO NOT MAKE AN IMMEDIATE PAYMENT I cannot calculate postage to every country in the world so overseas buyers please wait for an invoice with a correct postage amount. Auction is for the Resonator only. Post to UK and EU or local pick up. Buyer is responsible for any import duty or local tax in their country of origin.
