A beautiful Romanian Gliga Gama Violin by Cristian Gliga. Great for an advancing young violinist who needs a better instrument. This is a big step up from a standard student alternative, and one from Gliga's advanced/professional violin range. This was my daughters much loved violin and this instrument really helped her progress. Took her through the higher grades and national orchestras. Big bold sound and great projection, this plays like a full size instrument. Fitted with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings, ebony fittings and heart pegs with white pin. Tailpiece with 4 adjusters has metal flower design inset with crystal detail. Complete with JTL red lightweight case with hygrometer, external music pocket and strap, and Wolf shoulder rest. No bow is included with this. Bought direct from the USA in nearly new condition this is a fabulous instrument in great condition. This beautiful 1/4 size Gliga Genial 1 violin, bought new from Elida Violins in , is in outstanding condition. It has been professionally set up with Dominant strings, it has a Wittner Ultra tailpiece and comes complete with bow, FOM shoulder rest and lightweight carry case. This Gliga Gen 1 was made in Romania, and has 11 coat of oil varnish applied by hand. It produces a lovely rich tone, my daughter enjoyed playing it very much.
