Purchased from Elida Trading in May for £375. Targeted at players up to around Grade 5, the Gems 1 is more highly flamed than the Gems 2. The violin is in great condition, with upgraded Wittner Tailpiece with 4 integrated fine tuners. This beautiful 1/4 size Gliga Genial 1 violin, bought new from Elida Violins in , is in outstanding condition. It has been professionally set up with Dominant strings, it has a Wittner Ultra tailpiece and comes complete with bow, FOM shoulder rest and lightweight carry case. This Gliga Gen 1 was made in Romania, and has 11 coat of oil varnish applied by hand. It produces a lovely rich tone, my daughter enjoyed playing it very much. Stentor make some of the most reasonably priced beginners violins and are often recommended by music teachers, so this would be great for someone just starting out or moving up from a smaller size. This 1/2 size is suitable for a child aged 7-9 and comes with a bow and case. It was my partners when she was younger, but it saw very little use and now we're looking to give it a new home.
