G and L ASAT Special 04 Tribute (Korean Made)

Beautiful G and L ASAT Special for sale. 04 Korean made Tribute line (much better than current Indonesian line) with superb attention to detail. Frets perfectly dressed (honestly) and neck is wonderfully smooth and plays like a dream with no buzz. Rosewood slab fingerboard which is great for chording yet bright enough for picking. MFD single coil pickups from the Fullerton Factory (genuine US made electronics). To quote G and L themselves:- "A MFD™ jumbo single coil is similar to a P-90 or Jazzmaster® pickup, yet the MFD principle provides a punchier bottom end and brighter top end sparkling with harmonics." Plastic cap to pickup switch missing. Also willing to add onto the sale a Farida CT-36 electric guitar which has Alnico Humbuckers in neck and bridge position, split coils in both, maple neck with ebony fingerboard and a solid mahogany body. An absolutely sweet example of a Tele from the Tribute series. It has the original G&L neck pickup (check out some vids), a really smooth pickup. The bridge pickup has been replaced by a previous owner with a hotrail (not sure what make). It sounds great with a bit of gain and really cuts through a mix. From what I can find out about G&L serial numbers I believe it was made in in Korea (though I may be wrong there). I made the mirror scratchplate, though still have the orignal tortoiseshell one if that's your thing. I'd consider a trade on an Ibanez CMM1 or Epiphone ES339 or Blueshawk/Nighthawk. Great Condition just a few small marks on finish.Lovely player good intonation along fretboard, Classic Telecaster Sounds. Being a Semi Acoustic its nice and light Pickups reportedly made by Tonerider. Slightly hotter than normal. good for Blues, Indie, Country Twang but it does rock with no real feedback isues unless you being silly!
