Interesting and old big mandolin (?) No label inside, but the back of the peg case reads "Musikhaus W. Rottwinkel Warendorf". (Germany)(see pictures) The inlay at the front is very nice. No cracks or open seams, but scretches and the front is a littlebit out of shape. It is a rare and nice instrument anyway! Rare Gibson Les Paul Custom Florentine Plus Year trade R8/R9

Absolutely stunning Gibson Les Paul Florentine plus (also known as a bantam elite plus) from the year . The original retail price confirmed by Gibson was $. (Emails included in photo's) Plays like a dream on a beautiful ebony board with very little fret ware. Sounds incredible thanks to a solid maple cap (not laminated like a 335) the sound is like a les paul custom but really wants to sing and sustain thanks to the semi hollow design. Fitted with the factory original 57 classic pickups. Comes in the Gibson hardcase that does have some wear. The condition of the guitar is very good, there are a couple of marks but none through the lacquer and are to be expected on an instrument of this age. Gibson were pretty sporadic in issuing COA's in the late 90's so this didn't have one however I do have emails for Gibson Europe confirming spec and authenticity so buy in confidence. Any trial welcome, I am based in Doncaster. Any other questions give me a call or text on . I would prefer cash on collection and I do travel around so a meet is possible. Gibson Les Paul Studio (gold edition) with Gibson Hardcase

Hi there, For sale is a Gibson Les Paul Studio from , built in Nashville, USA. Superb example of a 20 year old Les Paul studio in stunning wine red finish. This is the gold edition which features gold hardware rather than the more common chrome. Overall, the guitar is in fantastic condition for its age with one or two minor dings as shown in the pictures - these are to the rear and near bottom side at the strap button, both are not visible when playing the guitar. Built quality on this is second to none. Made in an era when Gibson took more care about things and this is reflected when compared to the newer versions. These are very desirable examples. Typical Gibson construction: Solid one piece mahogany body with carved maple top and set mahogany neck. As I said before, this is old school Gibson quality so there's None of this modern 'weight relief' garbage - the thing weighs an absolute ton and offers great sustain. The 22 fret mahogany set neck has a lovely rosewood fret board with pearloid inlays as standard on LP's. Frets are nice and level with many years of playing left in them - there no need for any re-fretting any time soon! Pickups are the Gibson hot ceramic set - 496R in the neck, 498T in the bridge. They give much more bite than vintage PAF's or modern Burstbuckers but are versatile for all playing styles. I'd say it's a solid 8/10, especially for its age with no excessive damage. The headstock cap is pristine and not cracked/weathered like is common with LP's as time go's on. Hardware has light tarnishing as to be expected. Original black pickguard is included. Comes with a genuine Gibson custom shop case with purple velvet interior included, these are circa £180 alone. Prices to sell. You'll struggle to get one of these with a case for any less than £600 and modern Studio's of lesser quality are around £900 in stores.
