This is a great Gibson Les Paul Traditional with a beautiful ocean blue flamed maple top. The Les Paul Traditional is a remake of the late ’50s Les Pauls. It has a solid mahogany body (without weight relief) and a one-piece ’59 neck, which creates serious sustain. The guitar comes with the Gibson’s ’59 Tribute Humbuckers, which have been designed to re-create the tones of the legendary 59 bursts. This guitar sounds the part! Versatile, classic, fat Les Paul tones a la ZZ TOP, Slash, Joe Bonamassa, Randy Rhoades, name it. This guitar delivers. If you don’t want to spend 3-5 times the price of this guitar for a Custom Shop R9 or a Historic 59, this guitar is it. The instrument is in top condition, but has a small blemish and colour repair at the right top end of the headstock (see photo). Rare Gibson Les Paul Custom Florentine Plus Year trade R8/R9

Absolutely stunning Gibson Les Paul Florentine plus (also known as a bantam elite plus) from the year . The original retail price confirmed by Gibson was $. (Emails included in photo's) Plays like a dream on a beautiful ebony board with very little fret ware. Sounds incredible thanks to a solid maple cap (not laminated like a 335) the sound is like a les paul custom but really wants to sing and sustain thanks to the semi hollow design. Fitted with the factory original 57 classic pickups. Comes in the Gibson hardcase that does have some wear. The condition of the guitar is very good, there are a couple of marks but none through the lacquer and are to be expected on an instrument of this age. Gibson were pretty sporadic in issuing COA's in the late 90's so this didn't have one however I do have emails for Gibson Europe confirming spec and authenticity so buy in confidence. Any trial welcome, I am based in Doncaster. Any other questions give me a call or text on . I would prefer cash on collection and I do travel around so a meet is possible. I may consider a trade deal for other high end guitars such a Gibson custom shop/R7,R8,R9's and PRS. Really nice guitar, just more of an SG guy myself! All original except straplocks added and output socket/mount replaced. Made in the Samick Factory in , before Epiphone moved production to China. The Samick years are known for excellent quality compared to later years. Has a beautiful and rather rare birds eye Maple top. Excellent condition for age - usual wear and tear. Couple of knocks on the side of the body, worst of which I've tried to show in the photos. Frets are not worn, electronics are good and action is low.
