Giant lop rabbit male

I am looking to rehome a giant lop which I have recently rescued and rehabilitated. Thumper was in a very bad way and has had extensive vet treatment to get him back to health. He is now healthy again although still has some patches of fur which need to grow back. I am looking to find him a perfect forever home after I finish his treatment this week. I am unsure of his exact age but it is estimated that he is around 5 and he's been neutered. He is stiff on his back legs from possible arthritis but the vet does not want him to go on medication for this as he copes fine. He is the softest rabbit that you will come across, nothing phases him and he will come over for strokes and sit there without moving whilst you groom him and pick him up. He needs to go to a home with rabbit experience and somewhere with outdoor space for him every day. He needs a large living space, either a large hutch with attached run or a shed. He lived in a pen with chickens and ducks before so is very placid. I will be checking that he is going to a perfect home. Read More

English Lop Buck Bunny 9 months neutered giant big rabbit Lop eared pure bred

Meet Flop! He is the loveliest English Lop bunny you'll ever meet. He is a pure bred English Lop, but not suitable for showing. He is part of the family, and must remain so. He is black all over, with long floppy ears. He's a big bunny rabbit, and he will get even bigger, so he is only suitable for a loving home where he has PLENTY of space to run around zippady boinging and bouncing about. Because of his long ears, he needs more care than a standard rabbit breed. They are prone to scratches and cuts as he can easily trip over them while running about, and he does when he's being dopey! He is best suited to be an indoor bunny, as his ears are very sensitive to the cold. But also because he loves people, especially if they give him strokes, he loves strokes. He doesn't like to be picked up, at all. He will tolerate being picked up if necessary but really doesn't like it. He is our house bunny, he loves to hop around the house but also loves to spend his afternoons in the garden keeping our lawn nice and short. He has been neutered, so there will be no baby Flops. He is up to date with his vaccinations. His birthday is the 2nd October . We love our Flop, and we wish we could keep him, but our little house and garden aren't quite big enough for him, and our working schedules don't allow for enough cuddles. Please be aware, Flop will NOT be happy living in a hutch in the garden. He deserves much more than that! He is used to lots of love and attention, and will only be going to a home that can offer him the same. He will also be needing a new bunny friend to live with him, as bunnies love to be in pairs. The alternative to Flop moving in as a house bunny, is that he has a whole converted shed to live in with a bunny friend or two. He will also love a big patch of lawn. The more the better. He is not a destructive bunny, has never chewed through wires or skirting boards. And as long as he has enough space, food, love and a clean environment will be a really happy bunny and a lovely pet. Ed is a giant lop. He will grow big ie 4 KG and is already quite sizeable. We have his older brother and they do not get along, so unfortunately Ed has to go. Sadly Buddys mate died about a month ago and he's lost without her, unfortunately due to my partner changing jobs and working away I am not able to take on another rabbit right now so we feel it would be better for him to go to another home where he can have another companion. He extremely friendly, used to being handled by adults and small children. He is so friendly that we first tired to find a petting zoo or farm to take him on as he would be perfect but unfortunately they are all full. He is also neutered so can be housed with females or another laid back neutered male. He is used to having free roam of our garden with a shelter so a small hutch would not be suitable, but a large enclosure would be ok if handled alot too and let out to play.
