?? PERFECT COMPANION ?? for sale on behalf of a client Gertie ?? 4 year old chestnut Shetland mare ?? was sold as a kids pony, good to handle by children but this is not the case. She is very shy and timid and takes time to trust people. When first bought she was very under weight and covered in sores, but after a few months of good feed and care she is looking brilliant. With some work she may be good with children, but as she is now she is more suited as a companion, will live out with any horse, currently in a herd of 6 ranging from hh. Doesn't not worry when left alone or other horses are taken away. Is difficult to catch in open spaces or without a headcollar on, but the more she trusts you the better she will get. 6 year old Shetland mare in Leeds

£400 ONO. Lovely child's pony who we purchased as a livery debt a year ago. We have done many local shows with her both inhand and ridden. She will come with a cub saddle and bridle (saddle pad can be purchased for an additional £30). Has been placed in walk and trot, junior equitation, m&m, junior handler and champion in Shetland classes. Not phased by outdoor or indoor arenas...However may nibble grass if you let her! He loves being groomed, loves attention, very good to be handled, feet etc. You do something with him twice and then he just seems to accept it.
