He is only being used as a companion, so is being wasted and he is too much for my old horses. He loves being groomed, loves attention, very good to be handled, feet etc. You do something with him twice and then he just seems to accept it. 6 year old Shetland mare in Leeds

£400 ONO. Lovely child's pony who we purchased as a livery debt a year ago. We have done many local shows with her both inhand and ridden. She will come with a cub saddle and bridle (saddle pad can be purchased for an additional £30). Has been placed in walk and trot, junior equitation, m&m, junior handler and champion in Shetland classes. Not phased by outdoor or indoor arenas...However may nibble grass if you let her! We are only selling as we will be competing at county level next season, and as she is not a registered Shetland we are unable to take her along! A very sad sale so only honest enquiries please. ??Jack ?? 13.2hh 6yo gelding Jack is a gorgeous chunky gelding. He is a real 'people pony' who will stand stock still all day to be cuddled, bathed & groomed he's a very affectionate pony! He has low mileage for his age, and so I'm inclined to describe him as 'green', however he is a safe, straightforward ride and I feel would do an excellent job for the whole family. He looks after the youngest riders on the lead rein and is content to go for a quiet stroll but he enjoys his work too and does have another gear if you ask for it! He loves to have a good canter and will happily pop a small log or cross pole. Jack will be ideal for fun rides / local shows /riding lessons / happy hacking / generally just a fab all round family pony! Jack is a comfortable steady ride - he's certainly not 'fizzy' but he's not a 'kick along' plod either he's easy off the leg and has nice forward paces. He always aims to please. Jack is the happiest of happy hackers she will go alone or in company / good in traffic / sensible in open spaces / not 'spooky' / snaffle mouth etc... no vices he hasn't ever reared / bolted but can put the odd buck in in canter although with regular work I feel that this will stop completely. Moving forward I feel that jack has a lot more to offer so I would like him to go to a reasonably competent home able to continue his education and who will take him out and about and enjoy having fun with him. With a very heavy heart I am writing this. I have decided to come to the heart breaking decision to sell my lovely 6 Year old welsh section D gelding, Thunder. Thunder is good to load, catch and with the farrier. Last year he was lightly broken taking it all in his stride, I turned him away for the winter but due to work commitments and moving house I no longer have the time he needs to bring him back into work. He has such a lovely character and always willing to please. He is perfect to lunge and I have started to sit on him in the stable and he is fine so wouldn't take much to get him going again.
