The handle is also still with the original wire winding, which is completely intact. (This is often damaged or restored) Also includes the portepee The cross-guard bears the engraved initials CE.The blade is in very good condition, no rust or spots, but very nice shiny steel. The gilding is slightly darkened but the handle still looks very good, without any damage, which is true for nearly the entire sabre. It is a very beautiful sabre, as rarely seen. U.S WW2 Officers doeskin coat.

A WW2 officers olive drab doeskin short coat. The tag is missing but it has written inside 39R It is a tailored fit. The top of the collar to hem is 35 inches. Shoulder to shoulder is 19 inches Top of shoulder to end of sleeve is 25 inches Armpit to armpit is 20 inches. Now it is priced accordingly as the lining is rather grubby and the hanging strip is missing and there is a little hole which is in the inside back. It has one button missing which is hidden under the collar and it has moth nips all over which only shows in certain light. The worst part is on the left side collar which had a largish long moth hole which has been sewn up. It is a lovely coat, great for re-enactment. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit

This is an ORIGINAL WW2 ATS OFFICERS CAP...Rare felt wool material khaki cap with original Bronze badge still attached and CLOTH chinstrap..Makers label inside and a sleeper..Unfortunatley it is mothed and hence it is suitablty priced because of this.However it is still a very rare cap and okay for display.Could possibly be repaired or made to look better with some work.Previously with mothed items,I have razor bladed some wool knap from a similar colour item and carefully applied it to the mothed parts with a dab of bostik at the base.Worth considering as if perfect this cap would command £.
