1 of 4 Walnut Georgian Revival Circa George II style armchairs. -Superb craftsmanship, in cabinet work and upholstery. -Superb condition in the 4 chairs, slight sun lightening in the different shades of the chair. -Supremely comfortable with a deep seat and high back, padded serpentine shaped arm rests, terminating in a scroll. -Cabriole legs with Scallop and Acanthus leaf deeply covered on the ears and knees. -Pad feet. -They date to around , this period, in this style was known as the Georgian Revival, quality and faithful reproduction celebrating the Georgian Cabinet making art. -Reupholstered to a high standard using the best hides and traditional stuffings, webbings and springs. -I shudder to think of the cost, if they were to be reproduced to this quality today, using mahogany, let alone WALNUT.
