My birds are very high quality and lay a lovely dark brown egg. I will send out first class (unless special delivery is requested at extra cost). Collection is available. French Copper Maran hens First come into lay in the spring will lay the darkest eggs. Egg colour then fades as the laying season progresses. Hens will often have a rest from laying in late summer/Autumn then will come back into lay after moulting and a rest.
