Edwardian Antique chamber cabinet bedside storage record player unit project LP vinyl storage

I purchased this to convert into a stand/storage unit for my record player as the internal height/Wide is the same size as an LP, however I never got round to it. There is a lip above the door that if removed and attached to the top of the existing door would enable the LP's to stand upright too although as you can see they fit in already the opposite way. Therefore would make a great project. However is also a nice historic storage piece too. It has a nice drawer underneath which is fully functional too. One of the rear legs has been pinned which you can see and although it is stable is slightly less secure than the other three. I have considered all of these points in the price of the unit and also the fact that there is some general surface marks and wear/tear due to its age. A beautiful french inlaid display cabinet in good condition. It includes two glass shelves which fit neatly into the cabinet which is also covered in a burgundy material. There is no key for the door, however I reckon this would be easily rectified by the buyer. The cabinet is topped with brass gallery fretwork and the inlay is in beautiful condition. Door when opened allows access to a closed storage area at the bottom of the door. The item stands 1m 56cm tall, 67cm wide and 35cm deep from front to rear. This is an antique French display cabinet/armoire/dresser that could be used in any room e.g. kitchen, bathroom, study etc. I've painted it in Farrow and Ball 'Downpipe' on the outside and dark waxed it. Inside is painted in Annie Sloan 'Old White' and clear waxed. It has good deep shelves so great for storage, books or showing off your precious items. It has really nice column detailing which I hope you can see in the photos and it still has its original glass. Dimensions Height 179cm Width 104cm Depth 54cm (max due to cornice) or 44cm depth of cupboards. Please note this is a heavy item. As with all vintage furniture, some pieces show signs of wear and tear consistent with age, but these just add to their charm.
