ANTIQUE FRENCH INLAID DISPLAY CABINET

A beautiful french inlaid display cabinet in good condition. It includes two glass shelves which fit neatly into the cabinet which is also covered in a burgundy material. There is no key for the door, however I reckon this would be easily rectified by the buyer. The cabinet is topped with brass gallery fretwork and the inlay is in beautiful condition. Door when opened allows access to a closed storage area at the bottom of the door. The item stands 1m 56cm tall, 67cm wide and 35cm deep from front to rear. Antique French display cabinet/armoire/dresser

This is an antique French display cabinet/armoire/dresser that could be used in any room e.g. kitchen, bathroom, study etc. I've painted it in Farrow and Ball 'Downpipe' on the outside and dark waxed it. Inside is painted in Annie Sloan 'Old White' and clear waxed. It has good deep shelves so great for storage, books or showing off your precious items. It has really nice column detailing which I hope you can see in the photos and it still has its original glass. Dimensions Height 179cm Width 104cm Depth 54cm (max due to cornice) or 44cm depth of cupboards. Please note this is a heavy item. As with all vintage furniture, some pieces show signs of wear and tear consistent with age, but these just add to their charm. This is a lovely wooden glass fronted display cabinet. It has a cupboard area below and a display area in the top half. The display area has 4 shelves. The cabinet is of a lovely rich wood with a decorative inlay on the bottom half. The glass doors have a wooden decorative strip on them and are lined within the frame with rope. The cabinet is very heavy and will need at least two people to move. It is in great condition with only a few minor scuffs here and there. I am unsure as to is age or what wood it is made out of. Reproduction Antique Inlaid Mahogany Mirrored Corner Display

This magnificent full height, display cabinet fits into a corner and would enhance any room. It breaks down into two units, the upper display cabinet and the base unit. Both have doors with brass locks and keys and there is a triangular drawer in the base unit as well. Both units are inlaid with a lovely flower pattern as shown. In the upper unit, there are two glass shelves made of safety glass which are fully supported. The two rear sides are lined with mirrors and there is a 12V lamp in the ceiling of the cabinet. The curved window gives an amazing effect and the glazing is sealed in with a cord which finishes it off nicely. It measures 66cm (26") in width, the sides are 53cm (21") deep and the whole unit stands 2.1M (82") high. Each part is reasonably heavy and although they can be lifted by one person, two are recommended to lift it. My late wife kept her collection of glass and crystal in the cabinet and it is amazing the effect that the lamp and mirrors have. They enhance everything on show. The cabinet was hand made in Italy about 15 years ago to match our other furniture and cost £700. Collection only from Brixworth, Northants as it is too heavy to send by courier. Large Reproduction Antique Inlaid Mahogany Mirrored Display

This is a magnificent display cabinet with three doors. Two have brass locks with keys although one just has a magnetic catch. The third door opens by releasing some catches when the middle door is open. The frontage is inlaid with a lovely lighter wood flower pattern. The flash on the close up photos makes the cabinet wood look lighter than it is. The first and last pictures look OK. There are two glass shelves made of safety glass which are fully supported. The rear and sides are lined with mirrors and there are two 12V lamps in the ceiling of the cabinet. The windows are mounted with wooden cross pieces and the glazing is sealed in with a cord which makes a lovely effect. It measures 153cm (5ft) in width, 40cm (16") deep and 125cm (49") to the highest part. It is very heavy and takes two people to lift it. My late wife kept her collection of crystal and glass bells in the cabinet and it is amazing the effect that the mirrors and lamps have. They enhance everything on show. The cabinet was hand made in Italy about 15 years ago as part of a set which cost £. NB I am only selling the display cabinet though and not the base.
