Looking for a horse to ride 1-2 times a week within mins of cowley road, oxford. I am at uni in oxford studying equine scince and thoroughbred management and have had to give up my horse as cannot afford to bring him to uni with me so am looking for riding and in return i am happy to do jobs. i have been riding for 12 years and am a very experienced rider and am happy to ride anything. i have backed and brought on numerous horses. happy to school hack and jump whether its a school master or a project. i just want to keep riding. can ride anything from 13.2 upwards as im 5'8. i would also be happy to take horses out hunting, schooling and to competitions but i do not have my own transport to take a horse. i dont mind if the agreement is short or long term. i have my own riders insurence. i am not sure what days i can do yet as havent got my timetable. can do weekdays an weekends daytime and evening. have plety of videos and pictures so let me know if you want more:) Read More

Looking for someone to ideally ride 3 times per week. Either all weekday mornings or 2 weekday mornings and 1 weekend morning but can be flexible. In return for riding I'm looking for someone to poo pick 3 horses, help with haynets, waters etc. Tack cleaning and help with a bit of ragwort picking when it needs doing. Duties to be done on the days you ride but must be able to commit to doing duties on the days arranged even if you don't ride. Also help with evening feed once a week. I have 3 mares that can be ridden. 2 that need bringing back into work. This would be mainly hacking with the odd schooling session. Possible trips out to beach etc. Must be a capable, confident rider under 9 1/2 stone. I'm currently working as a self employed dog walker/pet sitter and have some time free in the afternoons and evenings. I could also be free on some weekends on a flexible basis. I would happily commit to 2 or 3 afternoons or evenings a week dependant on your need. I have been riding since i was 13, but sadly have not ridden on a regular basis in the past few years. The photo was taken on holiday this September in Cyprus and riding there made me realise just how much i missed it! I'm a confident rider, although as i used riding schools, i would need some guidance with tacking up as i've only done it a handful of times! I'm happy on pretty much anything, but i'm most suitable for heavy horses/cobs. I'm also 5'10 so i'd be better on a larger horse. Experience wise - i can walk, trot, canter and jump. I haven't done the latter in several years so i'd prefer to refresh myself with the other aspects of riding first before tackling that straight away!
