This is a copy of the map revised by the surveyor John Rocque (fl.) for his "Small English Atlas" in and this map dates from the ’s. Decorated with a compass rose and a small view of Dover Castle. PAIR OF CHINESE 100 CHILDREN SILK EMBROIDERY PANELS FRAMED

This is a pair of Vintage Chinese Silk Embroidery panels both framed and glazed showing 100 children carrying out various activities. These lovely colourful silks would have been handmade and are to symbolise happiness, carefree spirit, family line and marital blessings to name a few. The detail of these silks is amazing and must have taken some time to complete. These are unique and wonderful works of art that make a great conversation piece and with each frame measuring 68cm (27”) x 36.5cm (14.4”) they are a lovely size. Wall mountings are already in place on the rear and also present is a label showing these were sold previously by an Art Gallery in East Sussex, which is no longer in existence.
