I'm looking for a safe and sensible horse, approx 14hh-16hh weight carrier/stocky type. Any age but minimum 6 years old as not looking for something totally green. I'm an experienced rider and my family have owned horses since I was 4 years old but due to not being able to ride regularly for a couple of years my confidence has degraded. For this reason I'm looking for a horse that is completely safe, good in traffic, happy to hack alone and in company. Good to catch and shoe etc. Not spooky, or too strong. Able to pop smallish jumps and good to box so I can go for moorland/beach rides occasionally. My budget is around £ but variable for the right horse. Preferably with LWVTB. Beautiful grey for lwvtb

Crisp is up for lwvtb to a forever home! He is an absolute gem of a horse and would make someone very happy, I had him for 6 years and only parted with him as I had to move to london. He is 14.3hh, 17 years old, gelding, Connemara X, flea bitten grey. Would be perfect for someone who mainly wants to school, has tried a bit of everything from dressage to jumping and tries his best. Can be a little slow unless you make him aware he can't get away with it but it means he never bolts, bucks or rears! Over the last summer I did a lot with him including beach rides which he absolutely loved! He is normally quite nervous when hacking especially if on his own but if you take him out regularly I.e at least once a week then he is x better. After about a month of regularly taking him out on short, easy hacks then I built his confidence up and at the end of the summer we were cantering across the fields on our own. He would need his confidence built back up again as hasn't really hacked over the winter and it would be a new place so if you are a nervous rider I would suggest getting someone more confident to take him out. He is passported, bare foot and all up to date with vaccinations. No health issues. He is an easy horse to read so nothing comes as a surprise when riding. He comes with absolutely everything and I am looking to eventually sell if I know he will be in a secure, loving forever home. Please message me if you are interested. ?? Tony is a handsome and clever 11 year old 14 h gelding. Hacks alone or in company but you need to be a reasonably competent rider to enjoy him, as he is a little green when hacking alone because he hasn't done much of this previously (can be spooky and takes confidence from his rider) He is good when ridden in school, he just needs pushing forwards. Is able to work in an outline and on a contact nicely. If work was put in he would do a great dressage test! Previously he's done jumping, just not done much of it with us. We regularly have an 8 year old grand daughter riding him. He’s most suited for a competent teenager or small adult. Good for the farrier, dentist and vet.
