Looking for a horse to go on LWVTB for a couple of months, will be ridden only by me as I have experience. I can provide pictures and videos of me riding, looking for a project horse or a green horse for no more than £ but must be let on LWVTB first so I can work with the horse a little. Beautiful grey for lwvtb

Crisp is up for lwvtb to a forever home! He is an absolute gem of a horse and would make someone very happy, I had him for 6 years and only parted with him as I had to move to london. He is 14.3hh, 17 years old, gelding, Connemara X, flea bitten grey. Would be perfect for someone who mainly wants to school, has tried a bit of everything from dressage to jumping and tries his best. Can be a little slow unless you make him aware he can't get away with it but it means he never bolts, bucks or rears! Over the last summer I did a lot with him including beach rides which he absolutely loved! He is normally quite nervous when hacking especially if on his own but if you take him out regularly I.e at least once a week then he is x better. After about a month of regularly taking him out on short, easy hacks then I built his confidence up and at the end of the summer we were cantering across the fields on our own. He would need his confidence built back up again as hasn't really hacked over the winter and it would be a new place so if you are a nervous rider I would suggest getting someone more confident to take him out. He is passported, bare foot and all up to date with vaccinations. No health issues. He is an easy horse to read so nothing comes as a surprise when riding. Very very sad sale of our beautiful boy, but he is completely being wasted here with us. He does need bringing back into work has he hasn't been rode for about 6 months and is obviously not the fittest he could be! He has a lovely placid nature, barefoot (fab with the farrier). Loads brilliantly in a trailer or lorry. He is ride and drive, but he has never been driven here by us so again would need to be worked on. He had his back and teeth checked about 6 months ago, recently been wormed. He has plenty of feather (but they are a tad burnt at the front due to him being out) has a lovely THICK mane and tail, possibly to thick as it drives me insane lol he can be quiet around new people, but once he knows you his character really comes out, he's cheeky, kind, never ever kicked or bitten. He is a STALLION, as far as I know he's never covered a mare. He's been stabled next to them, in the same field (electric fencing separating them) with not a problem at all. He's even ridden past mares with me on him and not batted an eye lid. He needs company. His best mate here is another little cob. They adore each other so I would defiantly like him to go somewhere with another horse or horses. I will be honest and say he is better (quicker) being ridden in company. But I have rode him out plenty of times just on our own and he just needs to be pushed along more. He isn't a forward going horse (may change once in constant work ?) I'm just trying to be honest with his advert. He's very special to me and he will only be going to the best of homes! She is a one in a million pony when you get to know her, she gave me the confidence to ride again after 10 years out. Only been used as a happy hacker with me. She would be suited best to teenager or light adult due to her age, as she still has things to learn and can some times find things a little scary. 16.2 perfect happy hacker for LWVTB

As I've found a new love of schooling I have decided very sadly to sell my big mare. She's a 16.2 stocky strong mare. Hacks alone and in company. 100% in any traffic, even on tight lanes. She may spook at a pile of bin bags or a new road sign tho lol. She has been previously vetted and had a locking stifle which has never effected her and only noticed once with the farrier. She's only had 1 injury where the vets believed she was kicked in the neck in the field (over 2 years ago) and she was walking sideways. She had box rest for 3 months (full x rays which were all clear) they believed it was a trapped nerve. She's been a happy hacker with me as she's a standardbred and so isn't great at corners in the school. I've changed her to bitless and she's fantastic to ride! She will hack in open spaces calmly and pick up a gear if you want to have a good gallop. I'm not looking for her to go to a home where she will be schooled NO more than occasionally. Or any implements such as draw reins used! She's been trained to hold her head high to race and this is how she's comfy. She is a fantastic hacker and could do an endurance type thing too subject to building up her fitness:-) She's full of muscle and in great condition at the moment and will make someone a life long friend.
