Rare fleeces for spinning/felting

I have 13 fleeces available from my Castlemilk Moorit sheep. The fleece is raw, unwashed but has been roughly skirted (average weight around 1kg). The Castlemilk Moorit is renowned for its high quality fleece. They are light tan or moorit in colour, with white under parts and short, tight wool. The fleece is of a short staple but great for felting or combining with a longer fibre for spinning.The fleece is even throughout; it is naturally bleached at the tips and darker at the base and blends to create a lovely caramel colour. The rarity of the sheep ensures a unique product is produced. Can be posted at additional cost. Read More

SHEEP FLEECES FOR SALE..BALWEN.

Balwen Welsh Mountain Sheep fleeces. 1 ewe fleeces and one biggish ram fleece. Straight off the sheep with dags removed from back end but they still have day to day debris on them.... Mainly black/grey/brown in colour but they can vary from sheep to sheep. The image of the ewe is prior to shearing and her fleece is quite brown due to fading in the sunshine from black to brown. Some fleeces can be quite grey. The other image shows mill processed wool from to give an idea of what the blended fleeces can look like. £2.50 each for collection (preferred).
